In Laos, audiovisual education faces practical challenges due to the gap between traditional theoretical instruction and the technical standards of professional film production. Emerging Lao storytellers often lack direct access to international co-production networks and regional industry hubs.
Initiated in 2026, the Creative Media & Film Research Project at the National University of Laos conducts academic research and practical media development to build sustainable bridges between university students, local storytellers, and regional media networks across ASEAN and South Korea.
